The Pittsburgh Steelers are keeping neck and neck in the AFC North, holding a tied 7-3 record with the Baltimore Ravens. Although the Oakland Raiders might have drawn first blood in this game, with their 49 yard Field Goal, the Steelers came out way on top with five Touchdowns. This team is showing their determination to winning another Super Bowl.

Emmanuel Sanders, Mike Wallace, and Isaac Redman each had passing Touchdowns, while Rashard Mendenhall grabbed a rushing Touchdown; Wallace had the longest run, by far, going 52 yards to give Pittsburgh their fourth TD of the game. Shaun Suisham added the Extra Point for each of the Steeler Touchdowns, replacing veteran kicker Jeff Reed, who was let go by the team after last Sunday’s game against the new England Patriots.

Ben Roethlisberger had four Touchdowns in this game: three from passes, and one that he rushed in from 16 yards out. He passed for 275 yards, completing 18 of his 29 pass attempts; Big Ben created no Turnovers for the Raiders.

The Steelers should have a fairly easy time this Sunday, November 28, when they take on the Buffalo Bills. The Bills are currently 2-8 this season. Kick off will take place at 1:00 P.M. ET.

The Pittsburgh Steelers welcomed back the return of Ben Roethlisberger, who had missed last weeks game due to a head injury sustained in the previous week.  The Super Bowl quarterback threw for two Touchdown Passes, 278 yards, and one interception.  Him and the rest of the team played a great game, but just couldn’t pull out the win over Oakland.

The game started out on a slow note, with more than half of the game’s points being scored in the fourth quarter.  The final quarter was filled with five Touchdowns, alternating between the two teams.  Oakland’s last second Touchdown put them three points ahead of the Steelers, giving them the win. 

The Steelers are now 6-6.  In the AFC North, the Steelers are currently one loss behind the Baltimore Ravens.  Depending on the outcome of Tonight’s Monday Night Football Game, the Steelers may remained tied with the Ravens for second in the division.  Three games behind the Division Leading Cincinnati Bengals, the Steelers might need to rely on the Wild Card in order to make the playoffs.
