As the Regular Season draws closer to an end, the race for Atlantic Division leader is tight. The Pittsburgh Penguins Shut Out against the Boston Bruins helped maintain a one point lead over the New Jersey Devils, but the Devils still have a game in hand. Marc Andre Fleury, who has been a little off his game in this second half of the season, got his first Shut Out of the season.

Eight and a half minutes into the game, Tyler Kennedy netted his tenth goal of the season, giving the Penguins and early lead. The score remained 1-0 up until the final minutes of the second period, when Alexei Ponikarovsky made it a two goal lead with an assist from Kris Letang. Michael Rupp gave Pittsburgh a little breathing room in the third period when he made it a 3-0 game.

Fleury made 17 saves for his first shut out of the season. The defense did a great job limiting the shots on Fleury, but he had some amazing saves to keep the Bruins scoreless.

The Penguins get a night off before taking on the Carolina Hurricanes Tomorrow, March 20, at 1:00 P.M. ET.
