Steelers Come Close to Playoffs, but Just Out of Reach
The Pittsburgh Steelers did what they needed to on Sunday, defeating the Miami Dolphins. Unfortunately, the Texans, Jets, and Ravens all won, destroying the Steelers playoff hopes. However, it is still impressive that Pittsburgh managed to go 9-7, despite suffering some tough injuries in the season; the most talked about being the loss of Troy Polamalu for the majority of the season.
The Steelers came out tough on Sunday, planning on doing whatever they could to make the playoffs. Despite a small, Miami comeback in the fourth quarter, Pittsburgh still managed to finish them off. Ben Roethlisberger threw for 220 yards, grabbing 3 Touchdowns.
