You would have thought the Pittsburgh Penguins and Chicago Blackhawks were division rivals with the physical game they played Saturday night. The two teams played a great game, with the Penguins taking the game into Over Time with a last minute goal from Jordan Staal. Unfortunately, Chicago had the final goal in Over Time to walk away with the victory.

Chicago had the first goal in the opening minutes of play, but that was one of the only goals in the game.  60 shots were exchanged between the two teams during Regular Time, but the Blackhawks remained up by a goal until the final minutes of the third period.  Marc Andre Fleury, who was playing a great game, was pulled to give the Penguins the extra man; what a great move it turned out to be!  Only several seconds after making this switch, Staal got the tying goal that sent the game into Over Time.

Pittsburgh only managed to get a single shot off in Over Time before Chicago put in the winning goal.  Despite the tough loss, the Penguins still managed to walk away with a point.  They still lead the Atlantic Division by two points.

Fleury played a great game, only giving up two goals and making some amazing saves.  Fleury had a total of 29 saves in the game.  He remains tied for first in Goalie Wins, and has a save percentage of 90.7%

The Penguins get a day off before taking on the Carolina Hurricanes this Monday, December 7 at 7:30 P.M. ET.  Carolina is home to one of the Staal brothers.
